You Can Be Assured of a Quality Puppy That Has Been Tested
Let me explain a bit
Tested, What do you mean?
I know it sounds crazy, but we test our puppies before we place them. No, they don't take a written exam, but we do evaluate several behavioral qualities and personality traits before we place them.
Tested, and I guess you could say graded too.
I want you to feel confident in your decision to buy from us. Many of you tell me what qualities are important to you in a pet. Do you want one that snuggles? Do you want one that likes to play? Looking for one for some agility training? Want one that will be good with your 4 year old?
That's what I mean when I say tested. This is what I do. I love these guys and they all have their own personalities. Tell me what interests you. Tell me about your household. Tell me about your past experiences with pets and your future expectations. I will most certainly be able to match you up with a puppy that will fit into your home. Maybe not today, or two weeks from now, but within a relatively short period of time, you could find your puppy "soul mate" here.
Call Me Crazy, but Talking with People Works, and Works Well.
Many of my customers tell me I am easy to talk to. They also get a kick when they call here and ask for "Ron or Sheila" and even though Ron sometimes answers the phone, he will always tell them he needs to get the boss, which I guess, in the case of a puppy purchase, is me. Not because he doesn't like to think he is in charge, but because, he really doesn't stay up to date on the day to day goings on of the puppy business. You will find out if I am not here he definitely isn't shy about talking to people he doesn't know. He knows that I know these puppies and their parents better than anyone. We work together, but as he tells everyone who will listen " He has a farm to run". So, it's me you get when you call here most often to talk about the shih tzus.
Anyway, back to the talking thing. I grew up in a small town (New Baden, IL), went to an excellent high school that gave me well rounded foundation (Mater Dei High School in Breese, IL) and graduated from a relatively small college (now named McKendree University). I studied and learned lots of things, but my gift since I have been a small child has always been communicating with people. I don't just talk, I listen to what they are saying. When you call here to talk about shih tzus--I will listen to your concerns, and your requests, but I will also be taking notes about the things you think are important in your puppy or pet search. I try to get to know you a little bit, and it's not because I am nosy, it it just helps me in the long run, help you. If you decide to let me help you through the puppy search journey, by the end of it, often, you might feel we know quite a bit about each other.
The thing is, we have several different sizes of puppies here, and we want to make sure the one you choose, will fit into your home. Different puppies have different personalities, just like people.
Tiny Teacup Imperial Shih Tzu puppies don't belong in homes with small children. They also don't belong is very busy homes, because they are like having a baby at your house again and require lots of time and attention. Puppies with more energy that want to bound around your home, would fare better in homes with children, who help them gets lots of exercise and so on. (Anyway, you get the puppy Match.com picture here. If we match you up with a puppy, not suited to your lifestyle, chances are you won't be happy--and we like happy customers.
